Testimonial from P6 (2021) student, Xavier, whose English grades improved by 2 grades after a short period of tutelage under me.
I always advocate that students must start early. Education/ Tutoring should not wait. Time is of the essence and good grades do not appear over-night. It takes much time and effort to achieve good grades.
Additionally, getting good grades is intentional. A student must work deliberately towards getting his/her desired good grades.
There is no short-cut to achieving success (no matter what that success is or looks like).
Achieving one's goals/ one's success requires dedication, good effort, focus, discipline, willingness to work hard, willingness to make sacrifices...
Keep on going, Xavier! He is currently doing S1 (2022) with me as well and it is a privilege for me to be with him as he embarks on another chapter of his school-life -- Secondary School.
Secondary School English Subject is not easy and so, it is imperative that all students read widely and read actively. Furthermore, extra coaching from good tutors is a must. This is because students will get consistent and relevant practice as well as timely feedback regarding their performance for each exercise. Students need to learn how to provide good quality answers which "get marks"! :) Getting things done right requires time and so, students (and parents) must not "wait around" before signing students up for tutoring/ enrichment classes.
There is, really, no harm in studying a bit more.
